When the walls fell I
picked up each one and you
weren't there. I checked in
every closet and around the
door frames and not a sign.
I looked in each tub and cabinet
and even the oven and not a trace
I checked between all the
pillows and blankets and
not a hair. Did you already
know everything was
collapsing and run?
Did you plan your escape
figuring I couldn't prevent
a thing? Or did you just not
want me to find you?
